In view of the tragic situation caused by the floods that have affected south-western Poland, we are making an urgent appeal to you for help . Many people have lost their homes, possessions and basic livelihoods, so now more than ever they need our solidarity and support.

The Zgierz City Hall, in cooperation with local institutions, is organising a collection of the most necessary items that will go to the most affected people

Please provide:

• bottled water,
• long-term food: tinned meat or fish, energy bars, chocolates, instant soups (powdered, of the “Gorący kubek” type), soups in jars and powdered milk for children, coffee, tea (in bags), sugar,
• hygiene and cleaning products: soaps, disinfectants, nappies, pads,
• charged powerbanks, torches, batteries, long-flame candles, matches, lighters,
• pet food.

We do not collect clothing or blankets!
