Lodz Voivodship Amateur Swimming Championships Family Cup – swimming pool at ul. Leśmiana 1

Entire families are invited to participate – from children to seniors!
The aim of the competition is to promote a healthy, sporty lifestyle among the inhabitants of our voivodeship who are of an age to practise amateur sport, treated as the best and also cheapest form of protecting their own health and keeping themselves in good physical and mental condition.
The competition will take place on 16 November this year. (Saturday) on 16 November this year at the MOSiR swimming pool at 1 Leśmiana Street in Zgierz. All willing persons who do not have a competition licence from the Polish Swimming Federation can take part (details in the rules).
The competition will be held in freestyle according to individual (including age categories by women / men) and family (according to regulations) classifications. The races in all categories will be held over a distance of – 25 metres, except for category A (pre-schoolers )- a distance of 12.5 metres.

The family relay in the following line-ups:

• mother, father, child;
• grandparent or grandmother, son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter;
• parent or grandparent, child or grandchild, grandson or granddaughter.
  will be held over a distance of 4 x 25 m (where one of the three competitors swims the distance twice).
  The 100 m alternating style OPEN women’s and men’s competition with no age division. Competitors swim four styles of 25 m each in the following order: butterfly, backstroke, classic and kraul.
  The competition is very attractive for all swimming enthusiasts. The organisers provide the competitors with cups (places I – III), diplomas (places I – VI) and prizes.
  Entry fee (including refreshments and drinks):
  adults – PLN 20, children (up to 16 years/under) – PLN 10.

Starting numbers will be issued on the day of the competition from 9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

The start of the first category at 10.30 am.
The event is scheduled to finish at approx. 14.00 – 14.30.
