The centre was built on an area of over 71 hectares, adjacent to the slope of Wilamowska Mountain.

The facility underwent revitalisation between 2019 and 2021 thanks to the project entitled ‘Along the Trail of Textile Architecture – Revitalisation of the City of Zgierz’ under the Lodz Voivodeship ROP 2014-2020.

A modern rest and recreation area has been created at Malinka, including a bathing area with jetties, sports facilities, walking paths and new planting. Keeping the water clean is possible, thanks to a special system: a running stream, subjected to natural filtration, flows into the bathing area from the ponds above.

The grounds include two beach volleyball courts, mini-soccer and basketball courts, two beach football fields, and a golf driving range.

A separate catering area – the “Przy Kominku” bar, foodtrack stands.Areas for parking cars have been secured.

The whole family is welcome to visit the marina where boats, canoes and pedal boats can be hired during the summer.
